Ahimsa is committed to providing high-quality, durable foodware products for schools. To ensure customer satisfaction and confidence in our products, we offer a comprehensive warranty policy covering manufacturing defects.

  • Duration: This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase.

  • Scope: This warranty applies to all foodware products purchased from Ahimsa Schools and used in accordance with the provided care instructions.

What is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance.

What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, and fading

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance

  • Damage resulting from accidents, alterations, or unauthorized repairs

  • Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals outside of the standard product care instructions

  • Incidental or consequential damages

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Claim Submission: To submit a warranty claim, please contact our customer service department at hi@ahimsaschools.com

    • Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice)

    • Description of the defect

    • Photographs of the defective product

  2. Inspection: Our team will review the information provided and may request additional details or return of the product for inspection.

  3. Resolution: If the defect is covered by this warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective product. If the product is no longer available, a similar product of equal or greater value will be provided.

Shipping Costs

  • For valid warranty claims, Ahimsa will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product to the school.

  • The school is responsible for any shipping costs associated with sending the defective product to Ahimsa for inspection.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by Ahimsa and supersedes any other warranties, whether express or implied. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product, and under no circumstances shall Ahimsa be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
